Most of the time when people think of branding they immediately connect it to a logo. Although a logo is consistently used throughout your brand, it’s not the most important thing.
In fact, a logo alone doesn’t really explain the story behind what your brand truly stands for. It’s how your logo is used and more importantly, the brand strategy behind it all.
A question you might be wondering is: “well why should I invest in a designer to create a custom logo if it doesn’t even matter?”
A logo and visual branding in general (colors, fonts, moodboard etc.) are still important because they help build brand awareness for your audience and help you execute the brand strategy you have planned for your business.
A logo on its own won’t give your brand proper representation. It needs to work with other elements and aspects within your brand.
Think of all your favorite your favorite brands…
Sure you easily recognize them by their colors and logo but that’s not the reason you continue to shop with these brands.
You enjoy their mission, their client experience, what they stand for and what they offer. You love how their brand is represented and displayed and although it’s not something you actively and constantly notice, your subconscious mind is what continues drawing you to that brand.
